I'm usually a very free-spirited type of person and always endeavour to have as much fun as i can at any given point in time but all through the final half of this week, i haven't been my usual jolly self and the major reason for this is the thought of the Entertainment Editor, Vanguard newspapers, Amadi Ogbonna who passed on during the week.
The fact that I knew the amiable editor clearly hurts me beyond description but two more factors that make me worry more are:
1. He was a married man with a beautiful wife and kids
2. The last time i saw he, we spent several hours together in Edo State during the 8th edition of the popular reality TV show, Gulder Ultimate Search especially on our way back to Lagos as he sat next to me and told so many funny stories, i almost broke a rib.
Amadi might no longer be with us but i'll never stop praying for his departed soul and his grieving family. His, was a life that was filled with colours and accomplishments.
I took the picture above while we were in the jungles of Edo State during GUS 8 and the longer i stare at the picture, the more i continued to wonder the fragile nature of life - once it's time to go, there's no fighting it. R.I.P Dear friend.
