Cool FM's Mannie Drafts Eva, illbliss, others into His War Against Nigeria's Problems [+VIDEO]

To state that Nigerians have become sick and tired of the myriad of problems that have since taken the nation off it's seat as the Giant of Africa would surely amount to stating the obvious. This however explains why Cool Fm's on-air personality (OAP), Mannie has decided to take a very bold stand.

Before now, Mannie has remained one of Nigeria's most prominent and consistent OAPs. Perhaps, this is precisely why his recent incursion into active music might take many by surprise especially when one considers the fact that he enlisted the likes of Eva Alordiah, iLLbliss, iLLrhymez and a host of other prominent artistes for his music video titled, 'Change the World.'

Before we give Mannie a thumbs up, we would like to state that the video holds a very deep message for every facet of Nigeria's troubled society, government and citizenry.

Millions of Nigerians have since fled the nation in frustration to see home elsewhere but if you're one of those who feel Nigeria still has any chance at all; even if it's a tiny bit, then what Cool FM's On-air-personality, Mannie recently did with a cross section of Nigerian acts is one thing you would surely find interesting.

We surely hope you're not expecting Mannie to sing like 2 Face, Wizkid or Asa as rather focus on the depth of message buried within this music video.

Here's a hint for Mannie in case he decides he shoot in this direction anytime soon - endeavour to pull off more of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr stunt and create room for a vocal princess like Waje or Chidinma to take charge of the chorus.

We salute his creative brilliance in this video, 'Change the World' and wouldn't mind seeing more of this. A super Thumbs up to Mannie and his team of freedom fighters.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”

                - Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered this speech on August 28, 1963.

What do you think we should serve our dear Mannie - a galaxy of Hugs or a truckload of slaps?
