Can Nigeria Produce Another Asa?

In the realm of performing arts especially music, I personally have four major categories:


1.     Good Artistes

2.     Bad Artistes

3.     Fair Artistes

4.     Exceptionally Gifted Artistes

These categories have over the years helped me place artistes based on their ability to churn out good music as well as their global appeal.

We won't go into further dynamics. Rather, let's go straight to the question that gave birth to this article - Can Nigeria produce another Asa?

First, if we were to place Asa using the categories listed above, i'm quite sure millions of people would easily be able to do this.

Where many more would have a glaring problem would be to request for 4 other female singers/artistes in Nigeria who can comfortably share this category with Asa.
